During the next few days I shall be updating the site with more photographs, new products and even more gorgeous fabrics and embellishments for you to choose from, so please bear with me.
I'm also working on fixing the bugs, particularly the ones on the corset shop page; at the moment I have no idea why the formatting keeps going awry - but I mean to get to the bottom of it!
August 11th - THE LOVELANDERS' HANDFASTING!
On Saturday, my dear friends Simon and Ruth had their handfasting ceremony and then their civil service. Both ceremonies were due to be held outside but the weather became increasingly inclement, and since we were in the middle of the Yorkshire Dales, it was decided to go with Plan B - stay inside! The venue was a beautiful house at Glaisdale called The Grange, which is owned by the wonderful Adele and Stewart Bates. Kevin and I had booked a room there for the weekend, which came in very handy for me to dress Ruth!
Ruth's ensemble consisted of Victorian corset, chemise, underskirt, draped overskirt and cuirass bodice. I also dyed some Cluny lace for the trim...and Sod's Law decreed that unlike Henna, which never stains my skin, I had to spend the entire weekend with faintly green hands! My fingernails are still quite verdant!
I haven't seen any official photos yet but here are some taken by our friends Nettie, Anna and Mel (thank you for allowing me to use them, gals!). I'm sure you'll agree that Ruth is the epitome of elegant beauty, and that together, she and Simon look completely timeless!

August 6th - BURLESQUE SUCCESS!
Sunday's second Vivid Soda Burlesque Revue went down a storm, as did my corsets and costumes!
Miss Loula Cherry, the delicious usherette for the evening, wore a wine silk taffeta sweetheart corset, with matching drape skirt and short bustle...
... and the equally wonderful Miss Nicole A Lure - performer extraordinaire...
...wearing a scarlet silk taffeta underwired, cupless halterneck corset, with matching removable cups, drape skirt, short bustle and long butterfly train. More images can be seen in the Models and Performers gallery. ~~~ July 29th - NEW DESIGN! Specially commissioned by top German pin-up model, Sari...Madame le Strange is proud to present the NortyCal! The underbust corset is made from navy blue and white duchesse satins, plus two layers of corset coutil, with a wide rigid steel busk and 24 steel bones. The bullet bra is taken from an original 1950's design and is also made made from navy blue and white duchesse satins. More images in the Corset Gallery
